The objective of this project is to learn about the engines powered by steam and diesel locomotives and how to run them.

 

 

2)      Project Rationale:

The reason I chose this project is that I like trains and steam. The knowledge I will learn will be important because I will work for Union Pacific . 

 

3)      The steps are, start blog, look up info on train operations, put steps down in blog, and love trains!

Hello Again and I will expand from steam locos to diesel trains to get a well rounded idea. so since my last post I have learned how to run a steam loco step one is to push the reverse bar forward and lock it into place. To start a diesel locomotive you have to climb a 8ft ladder to flip a knife switch like frankenstien to connect the batteries to start the engine.
